What kind of lock is this?!

Hello. I've just started picking up lock picking, and I'm trying to open this lock, however I have no idea what's its kind and how does it work!!
I've been trying to open it for hours but I've only succeeded once by chance, can anyone please tell me what kind of lock is this, and the proper technique to pick it?

What is this lock on? could you post a photo zoomed out more? Is it your lock? Is this lock common in Japan?

It looks like a generic MIWA JN dimple lock.

First thought was Fuel pump lock, with 8 push pins, not so much once zoomed in.
