There are several guides that discribe how to make one, I wouln't be suprised if it was just in the MIT guide, i don't know it for shure because I read practicly every guide on the net.
I'm digging my grave with pick and wrench!:-)

Click here to visit http://lockpicking.i8.com/homemade_clicker.htm where you can find step-by-step instructinos to make the one shown above. Depending on how nice you want it to be, you may flatter out the top and add a BicPen handle to it.

I've made several out of coat hangers and they work very good. But I keep saying this... it sucks all the fun out of picking.
But, if you want a snap pick, the diagram Kayvon posted is a good design. Follow that pattern, use a grinder or dremel to flatten out the coat hanger at the tip that enters the keyway. Works great.

Also, PYRO posted a great snap pick tutorial that I dug up from a search last week. Here we are: viewtopic.php?t=898&start=30&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight

To me, it's a bit clearer than the one Kayvon posted, but that's personal preference. PYRO's is made from a wiper blade insert, using 2 pairs of pliers (one needle nose, and one standard wider one) to make the bend, and NO heat, it'll destroy the metal, making it too brittle and likely to break. Depending on how wide your material is, you could put a pick end onto the bottom edge of the snap pick, but of the material is less than 3 or 4 mm wide, it might weaken the metal too much. I'll be trying a few made from coat hangers, more or less practise ones, then a good version from a wiper blade insert (several dozen coat hangers vs. one wiper blade insert, so might as well do it right on the wiper insert, can just fool around with the coat hangers).

Oh, and thanks to PYRO1234321 for all the above info. :)
