Lock Pick or Bump Key

Postby TheGodson » 19 Oct 2020 13:48

I need to unlock a certain door at my work at the top of a stairway and need to figure out whether it is better to use a bump key or a lock pick. I'll need to be opening this door at least once a day most likely. I already own a lock pick kit, but my fear is that I could break the lock and that would be a problem. The concern I have about using a bump key is knowing which one will be compatible with the door and the process of bumping the key could create an echo in the stairway which may or may not be a problem. Any help would be great.

What I plan to do is certainly not theft or anything majorly illegal to my knowledge. However, it could be frowned upon at my work place. I plan on smuggling a keyboard piano into my work for my entertainment when I get bored after completing all my tasks at my job.

I'd suggest you read the forum rules, they're over in the nav bar on the left side. We don't support doing anything unethical and/or illegal, nor do we support picking/bumping/etc locks that are in use or that you don't own. I don't think you'll find much help here for what you're trying to do.

Can I get an admin to lock this thread?
