Worn Out Practice Lock.

I have Sparrow Sidewinder and cut away locks. Worked fine for awhile, but now I can't feel binding and click noise is gone. I'm thinking re-keying both of them and replace the spring. My question is, would that likely resolve the problem or is it possible edge of bible and the plug key holes are also damaged?

I doubt it, but feel free to try out your idea and see if it helps. If I experienced your symptoms with my locks, I would increase the tension instead or get a lock with much tighter manufacturing tolerances.

I think it's quite likely a spring is damaged, this has happened to my locks. Suddenly things don't work quite right.
