which hand

Postby mikash52 » 22 Mar 2005 11:50

I am right-handed and use my right hand to pick. but have recently started practicing with my left, because i see some practical uses, and i was just wondering if others use both hands or their dominate or even their weaker hand to do the picking.

im right handed, using my right hand to pick with, i really should get into the habit of trying to pick with my other hand, but i havent yet! my left hand is useless in terms of accuracy or anything though, its never been very good, it just feels odd and out of place.

I naturally switch hands anyway for different projects at different times. I pick with both hands. I usually write with my right hand, but I can even do that with my left almost as well.

I can't do anything with my right hand. If I tried to pick using it, I'd proabbly break the pick in the lock. (Just in case you were wondering, I'm left handed.)

I've just started, so I mainly use my right hand, as it's my dominant hand. Once I get the hang of it I'll start practicing with my left

I pretty much use whatever hand fits better in the area, but if that is not an issue, I usually use my right hand for the pick :)

I like to practice with both hands in case I'm in a situation where it would be more practical to use my other hand. I'm generally right handed though.
