How the hell do you use this thing, Ive been trying on like 3 locks and it wont pop them open. Do you pull the trigger than pull down the tension bar fast? What setting should I put it on Heavy or Light? I looked at lukes video and he said light works the best.

Try applying little to no pressure, then as you pull the trigger multiple times, bounce the wrench lightly at the same time. One of those times you will "hit" with all the driver pins up and the plug will turn. Also, make sure that the bottom of the pick (on the pick gun) is not resting on the bottom of the keyway. Lift it up toward the pins so that it is just brushing the bottom of the key pins and make sure that it is parallel with the keyway, not at an angle.

Another tip, start with the gun set at the lowest striking tension (turn clockwise you will feel the thumbnut loosen like it came off the threads. turn it ccw just until it "catches"). You will find most locks will pick using less striking force.

A few tips on another thread here...

You may need more bounce than you think and don't put the needle too close to the top/bottom of the keyway as you will be constantly overlifting the pins without them having a chance of bouncing back to the shear line...

Yeah, this may be equivalent to the tension issue (you hear "use less than you'd think" too often and you end up using too little). Either that or we're just doing it wrong
