This is an easy one - practice, put the time in, and don't expect anyone to spoon feed this to you. Lockpicking is fairly simple on the theory side, it's actually acquiring the skills that's going to be hard. Get to work, and when you start hitting spools, mushrooms, and paracentric keyways, start asking around...

Welcome! We are glad you stopped by and took the time to join us.

Your first questions are likely going to be "Where can I learn some techniques?" and "Where can I get tools?"

Read up on the FAQs that are abundant in the "Lockpicking 101 - FAQs, and General Information" section. Also, make abundant use of the 'search' button as sometimes we get a little impatient if we've answered the same question over and over again...

...and if you get stuck... feel free to ask in the appropriate forum. Most everyone here is quite helpful.
