need to get started

Postby sam_fisher » 2 Apr 2005 0:39

I need to get started picking, I was wondering what kind of practice lock i should buy, and if I should buy the Easy Picking Book including 5 picking tools. Also, I have researched and read about lockpicking , but what i really need is a step by step prcedure to help me learn exactly what to do.
So if ya wanna help me out, that would be awesome! :D [/img]

I highly recommend the Easy Pickings book. It's one of the best documents ever written on the art of lock picking. As for what tools you need, a simple Philips head (that's right, Philips head) screwdriver and a toothpick are all you need to pick almost every lock.

Buy a kwikset and thoroughly read the FAQ section on this site. See if you can get started there and come back and ask questions when you run into difficulty.

I almost think this question is a joke - nobody is this dumb. Tell us, this is a come on, isn't it?

You might try ordering from Third Echelon, they sell them for fairly cheap.
