Hi,
I'm 15 and this summer, i'm planning to work in part time. While looking for some job, I naturally though about working in a lock shop, so I wanted to know if I would have any chances, considering my age.
all depends on your luck in my opinion really, im 17 and tried getting a job not too long ago and nobody wanted to give me one, then again...all the places i tried people were miserable as anything, so i had no hope of getting a job anyway, if you find yourself a nice lock shop you may be able to get in there, just call in, ask for a job and see how it goes
Just after I turned 14 I talked to a locksmith who soon let me spend saturdays with him (durring the school year). Come summer, he gave me a part time job 12 hours/week, and now again durring the following school year (i'm 15 now) I work two hours after school on mon wed and friday, so yeah, I guess you'd have a chance it just depends on the lockie you talk with. The guy I work for is amazing, really nice and knows just about everything I could ever want to know about locks and such.
