Hi i've got 34 bike spokes today i got them from my old bike took me about half an hour, anyway i was wondering what sould i make out of them it seems a waste if i don't do anything with them. So give as many suggestions as possibe and next sunday going to get more spokes off my other wheel.

If you get enough of them together, you could make yourself a bike rim.

Just kiddin'. I'm told you can pound them flat at one end and you've got yourself a pick blank, but I've never tried it. Seems to be there's better materials that don't require pounding.

Good luck tho, and if you come up with anything cool, be sure to post it here.

they make good tension wrenches.

altenatively they make okay'ish picks, put them on an anvil, or a flat piece of metal, and pound them flat. Once you have done this you just need to use a file to make the pick shape... I made a thread about these a while ago. Here it is viewtopic.php?t=9253&highlight=

as a side note I suggest you sand them well using fine sandpaper. This improved their performance.

good luck.

I'm sure there is some ingenius tool which hasn't been thought of yet that utilizes these, just find a way to open locks with them and let us know.

they make picking wires for lever locks, latch picking needles, and other tools... sure there are more uses though.

Auto lock bypass tools perhaps? [slim jim and the like] That's not really what we do here, but they're still fun to play around with, on your own car of course. ~Grit.

hmm... slim jims possibly, but there are better materials for sure.

internal manipulation could have some use for it

car bypass is quite cool for the first couple of days, gets boring quite fast though. :D

bike spokes

I have made some very good picks out of them in the past. There are better materials, but you can make picks out of spokes quite quickly if you have a grinder.
