Back...can any one help?

Postby freakyclown » 6 Oct 2005 10:32

Hey guys,

Been a while since ive been here, been totally busy moving and life etc.

I am at work and have come across a new padlock that ive never seen before, wondering if anyone can help with some info about how it works, how to circumvent and its name.

Ive attached two pics to help

One is a photo of the lock from the outside...the other is a poor attempt to show you the inside, the yellow part being the brass keyway visible in the photo, below this is the metal plate and further into the keyway is a similar plate aligned with the first. The brass jagged plate can revolve while the two inner plates do not move at all.

Any help?

Thanks in advance

That is a warded padlock. Do a search for warded picks which can be easily made and are easily used  .
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!
