A good priced, difficult to pick lock(pretty to very secure)

Topic wasn't long enough.. but, I'm curious of a really good/secure brand/model and maybe price of lock to use on doors to a house, as in, difficult to pick or break(as in with hammer or something) -- there have been burlarys in the recent past around here, mere blocks away, and I'm just curious about a really good brand to use on my house if I ever change out locks. Thanks.

EDIT: I'm curious, what would I LOOK for in a lock for it to have the aforementioned traits?? So I can know in the future when purchasing one.
