Well,....no. But I'll be able to work something out. Plus, I've been working with a dremel to make a slimline shallow hook. Hopefully it will turn out allright. I'll take your guys advice though on this lock.

That keyway looks soo big, i dont mean to do you down but thats an easy keyway really,

Make a wrench that has a very short end on it and tension on the top of the keyway, you then have the rest of the keyway to move your picks around in,

A pick can be used on an angle and doesnt have to be right under the pin all the time,

The keyway will also have holes in the warding so the key can lift the pins so you can lift them through the same holes,

When I first started trying to pick this lock I had a hard time with it. Now I can consistently pick it open within 1 minute. I just add a touch of tension and go in with a rake until the 2nd pin false sets, then I take out the rake and put a small hook pick over the 2nd pin, relax tension ever so slightly and push up the 2nd pin stack and she opens right up! Sometimes you will drop a few pins when you relax tension so you have to start over. I recently took a Master 140 apart that I was having a hard time with and it had 3 spool pins in it!

I followed your advice, Ray-Air, and it popped in less than a minute! Was able to get it consistently about two more times in a short period of time as well. Plus, yes, you're right Shrub, I think it was all a technique thing. After seeing where and how to put the wrench in, I was able to fit picks in nicely, and, um, like you said, easily. I guess it never pays to say something that disagrees with themaster, LOL.

Please dont give me that label as im far from it but a big keyway is generally easier to fit picks into,

A paracentric keyway has wardings that protrude past the centre line of the keyway,

Yeah, after looking around at some crazier locks (most European) i've realized that a big sqaure block is pretty easy, hehe.

Its just that i can pick locks but there are far far better people than me, it also takes me a while to pick a lock when i first see it,

You know, I fully advise this lock to those wanting to learn security pins. With the one pin it really helps you start to get the feel. It feels like a milestone in my LPing hobby. Um, moment of silence...okay, back to reality.

Seriously though, it is good for trying to get the SP feel.
