How would one dissasemble a Master-lock?

yeah, taking the dial off is hard, you see the two lips of metal that flower out over the back of the dial?

well those ARE NOT SPRING LOADED METAL, they were once a straight tube of metal that was heated and pushed down to keep the dial on.

so, your best bet is to A) grind off the metal on one side enough to pop it off. B) heat it with something and plier that metal up and away.

i used a drill, and did some funky drill grinding at angles and got enough off to pop it off.

all that will be covered in me guide...i know im doing a lot of talking and not much posting of this uber-guide, but hopefully soon it will fall all together and be glorious!
