Unknown keyway spotted in the wild

I got a fleeting glimpse of a keyway I couldn't recognize in the outside door of a local business while I was going inside. I wasn't comfortable asking anyone in the store about it so I recreated a stensile of it from memory:



I could see about 1/8" to 1/4" into the lock before the shadow darkened the inside but I didn't see anything at all up to that point. I have no idea what it was, I'm just curious if anyone else recognizes what it is.

prolly an abloy disklock of some kind.

That keyway is reminescent of everything from the latch of a payphone vault, to any number of double bitted lever locks and keyed safe locks. Do these look familiar?

it's definitely not an abloy keyway.

i'd guess lever lock of some kind.

I think it is some cheapo warded lock. I have a a padlock that has that exact keyway.

It's a glass door with a steel frame, I don't think there's much much room for a large mechanism however I suppose it could be the S&G lock referenced.

Looks very much like a Chubb AVA - was one side a bit shorter than the other, perhaps with a bevel?
