What type of Master padlock is this?

(don't pay any attention to the darkened "Master" text, it's marker pen)

It has 5 pins, and is getting on my nerves. I've been trying to pick it for hours.

Anyone know anything about it? I've been looking around, but I can't find any models that look exactly like that.

Regards, flippy

Looks similar to the 140 but with a curved body. How big is it? And are you sure it has 5 pins? Looks like an older model. It should pick easy enough.

i had a craftsman lock like that before. it is tricky. the key (no pun intended) is the tension, you want really light tension on it.

and it might have some spools (from my experience)

are you raking it or SPP it?

taking it a pin at a time. It's a pretty tight fit, and so far I *think* I have 4 pins down. Definitely 5 pins.

Looks like the abus key way some what

Tension in the top of the plug will be good. Use a slim hook.

Theres 4 security spool drivers, when dealing with the warding twist your pick while lifting to over come the warding.

The Springs in these and the similar loking 150 are steel which i never new.

Anyway thats whats on the inside good luck

It's a No. 996, they have 5 pins and removable cylinders. You can see it at the Master lock website here... http://www.masterlock.com/cgi-bin/produ ... late=style
