Has anyone ever seen one of these locks before? I've been trying to find a place to buy them online, but have not found any, does anyone have any idea where I could find one? thanks

No, you will not find one at an online store, because those locks are pretty rare here in the US.

Actually kits were sold some time ago. I have seen a service kit for these for sale recently but not one of the locks lately. There were some dealers in the US but afaik, the locks are no longer made.
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!

Just cause they're rare in the US doesn't mean he can't buy them online, does it? One might turn up on ebay, like in his link, and Ebays an online store, and this one was located in the US, so I wouldn't say he will not find one at an online store.

Ebay has a Japanese site, but right now I can't seem to search on it, plus shipping could be nasty.

Other than that, maybe somone here will have one to sell.

Well, it will not be easy to find. You should've bid high while you could. Finding a Miwa dealer is quite hard, but I remember my crusade to get my 3800 locks rekeyed led to two dealers who said they still have/service some Miwa ECs.

miwa

Finding a UK Miwa is easy (they are probably also in US). Problem is that Miwa doesn't usually export its mechanical locks. The UK Miwa agent only does electronic/card locks, like for hotels. Getting hold of Miwa mechanical (ie magnetic) locks is hard outside Japan. I recommend installing a Japanese language pack and then get on google and email a few japanese locksmiths. You never know... :)
