Mauer E2 11 pin Dimple Lock

Well This is a cutaway I made and It is now sold, But I would like to use the pictures to show you guys how these work, also maybe get a good discussion going on some of there locks, as they really are great locks.

Okay First this is the passive security line of there dimple locks. Meaning, there are secondary pins, in this locks case on the bottom of the housing. Since the pins are passive they do nothing but stay still. There designed much like wink huas's, and also some Evva's to jam if an incorrect key is used, picking is attempted or the dreaded bumpkey.

First picture shows the main driver pins three are spools, this may seem low, but with passive pin directly below them you have to very very careful and also a shot of the key.

Next are two side profiles wre you can see the warding, also if you look really hard there are two dimples on the sides of these keys for master keying as well.

The lock also sports antidrill pins and rod directly down the front of the lock to deter drilling.

I would like to start a general discussion on poeple expiernces maybe some photos. But most of there stuff if for advanced area's so no bypass or advanced picking.

Enjoy guys :P

What a shame. The great Mauer company finally reduced to marketing pathetic dimple key locks. This is a tad short of the VdS standard by the looks of it. Thanks for sharing the photos anyway (I guess I'm a bit sad to see the state of things  )
