best keyless lock?

Information about locks themselves. Questions, tips and lock diagram information should be posted here.

best keyless lock?

Postby zerolife » 18 Feb 2008 16:14

I'm looking for a good keyless entry deadbolt at the $100 - $150 price range.
The lock I was originally interested in was the Kwikset Smartscan (fingerprint) lock but from what I've found on this forum, Kwikset locks are no better than an open door.

Schlage and Baldwin seem to be the better brand but do they make biometric / fingerprint deadbolts?

Also, would anyone recommend the Schlage BE365 keypad lock? Any other recommendations?

Thank you in advance for any help,

Susie

What about mechanical keyless? Combo, push button, etc...

most likely you won't find a good keyless entry in that price range.
Best bet is the ilco unican 7000 series but you'll probably want to pay for the install.
