Difficulty level for deadlocks

How would you rate the following deadlocks in terms of difficulty (1-5, 5 hardest):

1. Schlage
2. Kwikset
3. Abus
4. Master

I was surprised the Abus were cheaper than Kwikset and I didn't know Master made deadbolts...

Aren't all deadlocks created equal since the don't use locks?

Do you mean dead bolt? If that is what you mean, in general I'd say kwikset and schlage are pretty similar, with schlage probably being slightly better quality. Master doesnt make deadbolts anymore, only padlocks. Master deadbolts were bought up by schlage and adapted to fit the schlage system. Generally speaking, Abus makes a pretty good product, but I'm only familiar with their padlocks, so I couldn't speak on any other lines they have available.

Yeah deadbolts. Does schlage use security pins? Abus deadbols were fairly inexpensive so I wasn't sure it's worth getting (have a kwickset but need 1 step up now).
