There is actually a secret back-door to modern golf carts.

They are all fitted with a GPS type tracking system, which can be used to remotely unlock them.
You need to call the GPS control center and ask them to unlock the cart; it takes 5 minutes or so. In order to prevent stealing, they pretend to be emergency services dispatch, and talk in code. This is explained below.

Steps as follows:
1. Dial "112" from your mobile, wait for an answer.
2. Request "police" at your location (you need to be accurate, especially if there are lots of golf carts around, so they know which to unlock).
3. Explain that you are "trying to steal" a golf cart - this is the secret code for "unlocking" - and ask that they "come and help".
4. Sit tight and wait for the cart to unlock.

Easy! Done it more than 30 times.
Hope this helps.

One minor variance to this: Dependent on where you are doing this in the world, you may need to dial 999, or 911 instead.

And be persistent, those pesky unlock dispatchers try to trick you by saying it cannot be done. The good code word if they keep giving you the run around is, "I'll just hotwire it and drive it into a bank than." (but the wording MUST be exact)

Hope this helps.

The mods must be taking a well deserved coffee break.

I'm still wanting to hear a good 'ol yarn about why you need this info. 4 posts on 2 different forums and they are all identical. So much persistence, but so little imagination. :?

Maybe they are just having a little fun watching how fast this goes downhill?

That's fine with me. They are usually so on the ball I don't get to be a jerk for even one post.

It isn't like no one has ever locked their cash box and broken the key, or locked themselves out of their car. It's just too conveniant sometimes when they choose that peticular moment to become overly enthusiastic about lock picking. I this case jiggling, which if you had taken a moment to read any of the rules white0african you would know isn't even proper discussion for the open forums.

Forget the golf cart and start riding horses. Carrots are open forum talk right?

I'm a big fan of the highly polished apples. I usually use at least 1200 grit wet sand paper to really make them glow.

From the videos I've seen, carrots work even better than bananas on the M3 deadbolts... with baby carrots being especially effective on the smaller cam locks. I think this will probably move to the "Advanced" area once Marc's new Medeco book is out.

I knew there was a reason I couldn't get the banana's to open anything. Banana's are a crock and carrots are the real money makers. It's all so simple...

I was thinking more along the lines of stick and a string to make a horse highjacking plumbob. Highly polished apple could prove to be even more enticing. I get to work on the drafting table tonight and see if I can't rough something out. Thanks criminal hate.
