Well, ordered a set from Legear Australia, but a week later, i actually grabbed a couple of sets from the local Camping Quartermaster. I got a S&W 100 Series set from Legear, and from the CQ- a standard issue pair, and a bike chain link design (with holder!) that is similar to the S&W 300 series cuffs.

By the looks of it, with the 300 series types, if the cuffs are put on with the keyhole facing towards you, and not towards your hands, you can't actually get to the keyhole to pick it. I haven't tried it, cause i'm not game to do it by myself for fear of not being able to open it by myself, with or without the key. :?

And from what i've been told, handcuffs pass through customs, and never come out the other side. But from what i've gathered, as long as they're confined to my home for the mild side of 'recreational use' only, they'll be no problems.

If you want a handcuff picking challange try Hiatts 2103 - Link . They have smaller keyways, 3 locking bars and double locking. After you have picked them try again with the keyways facing you, I guarantee you won't be able to pick them. If you get passed all of these try Hiatts HSS9 - a seperate pin tumblar double locks them.
