I think I did it by accident, but it popped!
I'm going to find another, just so I don't wear the one I have down, but hell, we need more of these locks in the US.

Howdy y'all. At the moment, Texas. And for those who asked, I'm using an HPC DSP-1, no wrench.

a guy named Chun in China. At least that's who inspected it.
I got mine at Auto Zone I believe, but you can get them all over the place for $18-$30.
One common model is the Titan Electronic Digital Caliper. The generic body is sometimes rebranded and sold by other places like Harbor Freight, Northern Tool, Sears, etc. etc. the other name these are sold under is NESCO Digital Caliper. fire up a search engine and look for "Electronic Digital Caliper"
best of luck,

squelchtone: Sweet, thanks. I have an old analog job used for spam dice, but with my eyes, I could use some relief. Also, how and what do you use for your nice pictures? Alas, I have a crappy old 35mm and a tripod.

Thanks, they're ok, but I could use a better camera for white balance, macro, and resolution. I find that having 3 light sources helps get rid of shadows, and I diffuse some of the light to lessen the reflection of light on chrome parts like shackles.
The camera is an old Canon Powershot S200 Digital Elph. 2 Mega Pixel. Then I take pics into Photoshop and try to tweak the levels.
At The Last HOPE conference, I did something interesting with the camera. It has a manual mode for exposure time, and I took this pic of a taxi speeding through Manhattan

squelchtone: Thanks for the diffusion tip. How do you put photos in your post? Do I have to learn HTML all over again?
Sorry for all the newbie questions, new to this whole forum thing.

I'm not a moderator nor admin, but I know that threads are not deleted just because someone asks, especially when the thread contains good information.
