#1: Really cheap mounting board.

Really simple, just thrown together out of a couple pieces of scrap lumber. Only reason I'm even bothering to post it is to illustrate how simple a mounting board can be. Picking deadbolt cores in my hand feels very different from picking one that is mounted, so this provides more of a "real world" practice tool.
New folks to the forum that keep posting about picking the lock on your house: stop doing that. A rig like this is *super* simple to make. There's no reason for you to be practicing on locks that you need to have working when you can throw something like this together very cheaply.
#2: A cutaway core from a Master padlock. I had the core lying around in my stuff, and decided to see if I could make a simple cutaway out of it.
It works well; the picture makes the plexiglass look more clouded than it actually is.

Dremeled out some of the brass, cut a small piece of plexiglass to fit and epoxied it in place. Some small drilling of the plexiglass through the pin holes was needed.
So there you go. Like I said, nothing too big, just a couple of fast little projects to make learning for a noob like me a bit easier.
