ridinplugspinnaz's post is quite right. Reminds me of that old joke:
Two friends are out in the woods when a bear apprears and starts towards them.
One of them starts putting his running shoes on.
His friend turns to him and says.
"What are you doing, you don't have time for that!".
"It will help me run a little faster".
"But that's pointless, you still won't be able to outrun the bear".
"I don't need to outrun the bear... Only you...".
Security is the same, sometimes you don't need to be completly secure, just look more secure than someone else.
Security is a ruthless busines, just getting a lock that looks rock hard might well be all you need.
