OK, so, since I'm a new picker, I'm going to need some help...
I took a 2"x6" plank, and mounted a keyed doorknob on it. It locks, and turns well, key unlocks it and everything, in laymans terms; It works.
So I also made a set of picks, and a torquq wrench. If you want I can take a few pictures of them to show you what they look like if you want, but it might be hard, since the only camera I got is on my laptop webcam...
So, I looked around, and read just about every guide there is to picking that is in my language.
My lock is a Shlege.. I'm not sure the model.. I'll take a picture of it to later.
Any help? I can get pins stuck, like up to the 3rd or 4th.. I have trouble keepoing track, and I'm not sure how many there are, or which way to rotate the Wrench.

Glad it's in layman's terms because my latin is crap.
You made your own lockboard before you posted your first question. You've got my attention. Unfortunately the only helpful info I can provide is that KIK (Key In Knob) cylinders usually unlock with a clockwise rotation.
In a standard residential Schlage there should be 5 pins, but in some commercial knobs there can be 6. Have you taken apart the knob to see the inner cylinder?

The lock sounds like a standard Schlage doorknob, which probably is 5 pins with 2ish security pins. You can count the pins by either looking at the key or using the flat side of a pick, raise all the pins up high and slowly withdraw the pick to hear them click back down.
My guess is that you should start with something that doesn't have security pins. Kwiksets are a good place to look, as well as Master locks. Or if you can, remove the spool pins from your Schlage and try to pick it with reduced pin counts/no security pins. Many of the pick-fu stickies should be helpful in learning picking technique. Good luck!

Can you take the lock apart and look at the pins inside ? This would help you know if they are security pins and how many pins there are.
Also if you take the lock apart, put it together with only two pins and practice on that. Then try three pins and so on.

@Tooly-Well thanks, but I'm not sure how to pull it apart.
@Datagram-Thanks for the information, But like I said to Tooly, I'm not sure how to 'disect' my lock. I know what the pins look like, but not what to look for to pull it apart.
@Barbarian-I'll have to go hunting for diagrams and help for 'disecting' the lock.

Just like any other knob accept Schlage has to be unlocked with the lock picked or the key in and turned to 90 degrees. Then there is a little hole with a button that needs to be depressed in the shaft of the knob, which you should do and then pull the knob off while you are removing whatever you should choose to push the small switch down with.

Um.. Yeah... So... Insert key, turn it 90 degrees, then push a button on the shaft of the handle... will I need to take the lockable handle off the Board or what?

It should be fine to come off without being unmounted. Just unlock the knob, push the button in, and pull the knob off.
Later on I can take pictures if you are still having trouble.

Umm... one problem... I lost the key.. actually, we only got the one key with the house to the front door, so we went around and changed every lock, cause, well, who knows who had them?
So, How can I tell if there is a security pin (spool, or serated) while picking? Does it just not go up when I apply tension?

This should help you detect security pins.

I don't want to watch someone do it... I want to know how to feel them, how they act, and how to get around them.

Just trying to help man.
He tells you how they feel. He tells you what kind of feedback you're going to get.

Well, I'm not one for videos... Cause I have such horrendous internets, it'll take me 3-7 minutes to just get like 10 secounds of the Video!
