AM1 wafer lock

Postby Dooms_day » 21 Sep 2008 9:18

i cant seem to figure out where to start, but heres the lock: its an AM1 wafer lock as a security feature if the combination is lost, so i dont know how to pick it, since the lock hole turns 360 degrees but im guessing the cylender doesnt? also ive never picked a tubular lock before but im guessing i use the double ball pick? by the way its double sided

It's not a tubular lock, it's a double bitted cylinder, basically 10 wafers set in a frame which extend into the top and bottom of the shell. Put a tension tool in the center of the keyway and rake the top and bottom to pick. There are specialized double sided picks for these type locks.
