When you buy a high security cylinder, it will come with two or more keys, be sure to put one of the keys outside the apartment in a hidden place. you could just walk a few blocks away, and with a knife, cut a slit in some public ground and put the key in without anyone seeing, and remember the exact location, use a semi permanent marker, such as an old tree, or fence post.
This will be accessible to you if you have a lost key problem late at night on a weekend, and it will allow you to get in without hireing someone to come and destroy the lock with a drill. Of course, this is not completely foolproof, but its often the best you can do.

So....what did you choose?
One One was a race horse, one one won one race, one two was a racehorse, one two won one too.
