What files are the most popular to impression a key

What would you say is the most popular type of file pippin etc. to impression a key ?

files marketed as "impressioning files" are round in profile with no taper and a very fine cut. For 1/5 the price, you can get the same thing by buying a chain sharpening file for chain saws.

All the impressioning files I have taper which is very useful for if you need narrower cuts or you only want to file a tiny bit off the key.

yea i found the true pippin file i got from lockpicks.com is far to superior for impressioning uses, its blade has meny angles and contors very usefull for shaping your cuts... i also find the key blank holder with just the plastic grip is really nice too... something to think about
