hmmm... To be honest it looks questionable, kinda weird all the items in the first pic are included in the foley belsaw course.... the sargent lock, cheap anodized pins, and springs... WTF is up with the hot glue on top of the shell? looks like a scam/sub par course... Really sorry if im wrong...

IMHO go with something more known/reviewed. I liked assured locksmith training, but after reading all the reviews I went with FB first, as it seems to me the assured course is a better supplement, at least thats what I hear... In reality I think the best course is your dedication to expanding your knowledge of locks and their mechanical inner workings...

Seek all available information (not saying your not) and enjoy those "new gems" of info you come across that surprise you, (new locks, realizing your skill in a certain area, etc...) all I can say is read, read, read... that's what I'm doin'

happy trails!

That doesn't look like a bad deal. Basically the kit can be made at home with a mortise lock, a drill, drill bit, tap set, grub screws, and pins. Most pin sets would come with way to many pins to justify the cost for a DIY project. I believe this person realized that fact, and is trying to allow you the time/cost savings, and of course make a dollar for himself.

I did a mini-review of it a couple of weeks after Zheol's posting, purely by coincidence!
