A differant padlock?

Hi there

I am have recently taken up this lock picking hobby i been at it for three days and have managed to pick a few locks...anyways i ask my old lady to pick up a new pad lock from the store so i can keep practicing she got me this lock which i am not sure if it can be picked or not? so i figured rather than just leave it i could maybe learn about it from u guys

Seems to be a warded lock.
Can be by-passed with a metal wire, or a filed key.

thank man i see there is a lot of information on these locks, i about to purchase some picks i see they sell warded picks too so i will go ahead and get that too.

If you are starting out you need a pin tumbler lock!

Try an abus 55/50 or something, or a master no4
What a load of old BiLocks!!!!

I'm probably 0 for 400 in looking for safes behind wall paintings

thanks man i am planning to start with the tumbler lock it just so happened when i asked the old lady to pick one up she picked a warded lock ( women pffff ) anywyas i am heading to the store now i will pick up a few locks especially that abus 55.

kinda going off topic here but i am trying to pick my front door i beleve its a tumbler lock anyway when i pick it it seams that i get the 5 pins to the sheer line the lock relesses but when i make a full turn i hear all the pins jump back into place the lock its self is still in the lock position what am i doing wrong???

hey man you should not pick the locks that you rely on ( your front door)

lol ye you are right man considering i think i just broke my daughter bicycle lock....its all good i will buy her another one along with an lock that acts like the front door one i am curious about that lock though any ideas to what is happening i am sure its something you guys maybe able to spot?
