Both the Abloy Protec Euro Profile and PL362 cutaway are hardened steel locks, on the euro profile the hardened plate itself is also cut. Its not easy making some cutaways. We are working on getting the medeco cutaway, and several other interesting cutaway on there soon and they should be a good bit cheaper. but as always if you don't like our prices don't buy them, we arn't holding a gun to anyone head;) When we offer a product we consider the time and effort it takes and how easy it is to make more. Cheers, and you do some good work.
Ahhh, I didn't mean it to sound as bad as it did.

But you got to admit, they are pretty expensive.... I know they are hardened, but you must be getting ripped off on buying the cutters if you're having to add it on to the price.
Then again, it's one of those things with cutaways, because they are quite unusual and a rarity, you're never really sure what is a fair price when you come to sell them. I mean I can appreciate first hand the amount of work that goes in to just the planning of a cut..... sometimes 6 hours to do a PL330 for me at least. But maybe I value my time less than some people..... I do tend to not look at the bigger picture and take into account the overheads for the website and the maintenance etc.... but I'm not on that level, I'm just doing it for my collection and to earn a bit of pocket money for cutters.
Again, I didn't want it to sound like I was slandering you down..... but I've had people saying I'm a rip off asking £20 for a full cut Abus and it just got to me a bit because I could well have put it up for a little bit more and I still would be cheaper than the cheapest sites.
At least with your cutaways they are good quality, that I can't dispute

Anyway, if you want some high res pics of my biaxial cutaway let me know as there are quite a few good cuts.
