And the even operation of such keys on all mul-t-locks is moot. Selling a MtL with 3 missing pins doesn't exactly seem like something a "top seller" would do.
Not bothered to tell the truth, the locks were a steal! I got what I wanted out of the deal, and to be honest, if i'd know my sheet, I would have assumed the pin arrangement was mediocre due to the fact it was from a keyed alike set, which I was told about before purchasing. I now have two stunning cutaways of a lock I've wanted since day 1 of collecting. Oh yeah, I've since repinned mine with some spare pins I had from ages ago.... It now has the full PIP setup. But even so, it's nice to have the master wafers, I didn't have any up until I got this lock. So, like I said, 'top seller'
What a load of old BiLocks!!!!

like i said on my selling forum, i had these off a locksmith that did a total lock change to a commercial premises. i bought them off him as used- i wasn't going to break every lock down and check the pins, i just thought that maybe i might be able to pass them on to pickers who didn't want to pay £30-£50 for a chance to try and pick a mul t lock. i honestly think think this is a fair price for them, i was given almost 400 keys to go with them too, so i spent a few 'seconds/hours' testing keys and locks and realized that there were only a few keys that fitted locks. Basically the lockie withheld a large amount of locks from me and sold them to someone else. Whatever the first fitting locksmith has done is not something i can be held accountable for when it comes to the pinning situation, tho' it does smack of second hand locks made to fit keys. i will post my pics on here (to unlimited via pm-sorry for offering you a pic of my arse, but believe me, it is a peach.- my chick likes it anyways, (though not when i've had it spanked as red as a baboons ass after not being able to pay ' my way')(don't ask for photos of 'THAT incident). As for me being a 'top seller', i believe in selling what i can get, for minimal profit. i sold a few brand new 'sterling rim cylinders' on here for what i paid for them, because i was chuffed to find a source of knowledge that catered for my new found hobby/interest. i made no profit on those because i didn't want to;. i wanted to give something back..( i can still get them, but if certain pickers want to question my motives, whats the point?).I have become a little disillusioned with this forum- i love the people that i have talked to and others that i have learn't from, but as per any socially interactive situation, you always get the people that want to knock you.I'm not here to be knocked, if you don't want my input then fine, if you want to be suspicious of me, thats fine too. As of now, i am not selling anything anymore.

Sorry for assuming that you sold the locks with knowledge that they were missing pins. Some of the cheap crap lockies pull to save a few bucks, eh?

I bought a Folger Adam maxi mogul prison cylinder on an auction website and the seller said it was brand new. I paid something like $125.00 for it, and when I took it apart it was missing 2 pin stacks. I emailed the seller and he gave me a $25 refund, which I was happy to accept. The tougher part now is getting that lock fully pinned up, you have no idea how difficult it is to get those pins. My point is that the lock was in very good shape on the outside and the seller seemed like he really thought it was brand new. It even had the Folger Adam decal on it with part numbers. I certainly don't have any problem with christmas, and I'd like to buy a mul-t-lock sometime. I read your reply christmas and the only thing I can say is that we give all newcomers somewhat of a hard time, because we've had to deal with too many questionable people in the past so we tend to put new users through the paces. It also doesn't look that great if you have 30 posts and you're trying to sell stuff right off the bat. Stick around, read, pick for a hobby, collect some locks, ask questions, reply to others questions, and then sell or buy some stuff. At least you're not one of those people who just show up with 1 post and try to sell a Medeco key machine, lol. We've also been burned by some sellers here (Steve0527) who either took people's money and ran, or something came up in his life and he just fell of the planet. So we're cautious, that's all. stick around, we've got nothing against you. Squelchtone

i can understand the need for caution, after all you're right, i could be a skanking ho'. but also if that was the case i would be charging less and trying to make a quick buck. Suspicion is a survival trait and one that has served me well in the past so maybe i shouldn't have been so quick off the bat to reply. i'm not going to sell anymore of my locks on here, i'd rather have them sold on ebay and make a profit now ( bloody capitalism), after all, times are hard and i do have a thirsty mouth to fill. for those of you on the advanced forum, i will upload those pics in the next few days. My thinking was, maybe by seeing a few different mlock masters it would be possible to design specific picks to suit. (respect to Olson for picking his lock so soon.) Maybe we should concentrate on a little competition- i will send Olson a new rim if he is willing to use his lock as a community lock; ie like a pass the parcel thing. Everyone takes it in turns to pick that lock in the fastest time they can. Rules are you can practice on it for 24 hours then film and youtube the pick? winner gets 2 of my prize winning no-one wanting thumbturners. go on then, i'll even throw in a """""masterkey"""lol and 10 spare mul t lock keys and one sterling rim cylinder (with a very constrictive euro keyway) we each pay for postage? Any takers?
