It would seem that neither of you really know what Bilock is so have a look at this site. http://www.bilock.com

Under the pick and bump proof heading it shows an exploded diagram of a cylinder.

Did you notice how there are no top pins/drivers in this lock.
That all the working parts are contained within the plug.
So no shear line to catch the pins against.

yes... i have studied these in many high security books(these and many other topless pins...) essentially the side bar works sorta like the top pins but there is still no shear line per pin.

ive read alot about locks like this but never hac the pleasure of fondeling 1

They are very nice and challenging locks indeed.
Regular locks are nice until you've picked them, then they get boring.
But locks with special features like sidebars, multiple pin rows, etc, stay interesting, especially if they are hard or impossible to pick (although I don't believe in the word impossible) ;)

O, and please don't misinterpret my previous posts, that's where the smilies are for :D
