Here is what an S&G 833c looks like with a 9.75mm chain. It is a very tight fit because these padlocks are not designed to be used like this, they go onto two hasps which are mounted to opposite doors, or a door frame and a door. (The throat width is approx. 21.6mm) $300 US-$1600 US used-new

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned an Abloy PL362 with Protec core. That's tough and nearly impossible to pick. (The throat width is approx. 30mm) $215 US new

Here is an 833c next to a PL362 next to a No3

There is also the ABUS Rock 83/80 which is massive, but the drawback is that too often it is sold with a Schlage SC1 or Kwikset KW1 keyway, so you would have to request an ABUS core, but that's still pretty easy to pick. $105 US new

Mul-T-Lock #13 C-Series 1/2" shackle with shackle protector is also a nice choice. (throat width is approx. 32mm without protector, 26mm with shackle protector (shroud) $110 US new.

good luck,

Does the Abus 83/80 come with a custom milled cylinder? Or is it a standard one?
