Wow! Great job! Still reading...

A quick note about the insurance ratings: The German one (VdS) would be called VdS-rating, or "a rating from VdS", 'Vertrauen durch Sicherheit' is just their marketing slogan, not the name of the institution. The current name is "VdS Schadenverhütung GmbH", and in the past, VdS meant "Verband der Schadenversicherer"=Association of Insurance companies.
Similarly, the Dutch SKG means "Stichting Kwaliteit Gevelbouw", the name SecuPlus doesn't seem to be related to that.
Multipick Service is a German company, like Wendt.
"The techs discovered that German locks were particularly difficult" - Robert Wallace, H. Keith Melton w. Henry R. Schlesinger, Spycraft: The secret history of the CIA's spytechs from communism to Al-Qaeda (New York: Dutton, 2008), p. 210

Great article.

You mention that the MT5 uses disk as anti drill protection. I recently took a Classic cilinder appart , and it also had that disk. I hadn't seen it before , even though I've been working on these for about 3 years.

I have seen the Split D type pins. I didn't know what they were for at first.
If you want , I can take a picture of it.

They are not so much a disc, but a cresent moon shape. They also look a funny colour.... like ceramic.

Interesting, must be a very new Classic. Can you provide some pictures so I can confirm?

Thanks,

Also, I am beginning work on an updated version that includes information on the Tobias and Bluzmanis attacks against CLIQ. Please add any information/sections you would like to see added or updated, I will make sure they are included.
