Reassembling a DUO cylinder?

Is there any way to completely disassemble and reassemble the Duo without wanting to go on a killing spree?

Thus far, this lock seems like an exercise in pure, unadulterated masichism.

No, this lock is a pain in the @$$

but If you stick with it you should get pretty good at it.

I accidentally dropped my plug and wafers went everywhere. if you have the key it makes it a touch easier.

I used to do a couple dozen Illinois double wafer lock rekeys a month (master keyed). I haven't seen a kit for rekeying the extra side wafers for the DUO. I think they're restricted. But it is an exercise in patience to rekey. Two opposing wafers share the same spring, while fitting into the same chamber in the plug. This is best done over a clean work bench, using a magnetic mat, OR a never ending supply of springs!
