Right, but the gymnasium locker which you will be putting the lock on in and of itself is not a "safe" container to store an unattended firearm in... You need a container to secure the firearm which is made out of more than thin gauge sheet metal...

If you leave your licensed firearm unattended in a non-secure container and it is stolen you will LOSE your license to carry when you report the theft of the firearm to the police as you are required to do immediately upon discovering the firearm is missing under the terms of the license to carry...
