Do these just take normal half euro cylinders? or is it some kind of cam on the back.

http://www.hormann.co.uk/fileadmin/hormann.co.uk/Brochures/84131-Series-2000-Up-Over-Doors-E.pdf
See page 24 here, it shows a rear view of the lock in a nice and grainy photo, it looks like it has a standard euro shape, however I can't see or makeout the cam.

Here's mention of it on another forum,
http://www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=131919

Replacement cylinders online, described as "Hormann pattern lock cylinders."

Hope this helps a bit,

Yup, regular half euro. You will be best to get the repositionable cam version, some of those doors need funny cam positions to work.

was pretty straightforward.

The original lock has a 90 degree cam at rest

A normal half euro worked fine though.

I've come across so many different garage locks with half euros I can't remember which is which, and which will require funny cams. As a rule, single euro's with adjustable can are worth having, as they'll fit everything out there. So many shutter control box locks or garage door looks need funny cam positions (like 90 degrees or 180) that I only keep the adjustable type on my van.

If you're talking about the original Hormann , they are CES 5 pin cylinders. At least in my area.
