So i have a combo masterlock (idk the number) and it's impossible for me top pick. I set all the pins and got it to turn about 45 degrees from its original position but nothing. Ive tried this on my lock and my friends. Any help?

so, it's a combo lock?? I don't follow ya, can you post a picture? Is it a combination with a key hole on the back or what?

I know the lock you are talking about. Its a combination padlock, but it has a keylock on the back as a manual override. My old high school used them so administration could get into lockers without a combo. The problem is though, the manual override is not very good, in my experience. often times they could turn the key and the lock would turn, but the shackle wouldnt budge. I also have several of these locks. Some of them do open when you pick the lock, others just allow the cylinder to turn without giving you the shackle. its kind of hit and miss. A brad new lock should open though.

Those are tough to pick because the keyway is so small, personally I suck at those.
