URAN 2 lever garage lock - middle 90' from USSR

ok. lock itself consist of 7 levers. key is warded, posted, and has same numbers on it as lock itself(i suppose unique code for every lock). bolt moves 4 times to completely close mechanism. i suppose 3 in one pick will do the job, or just using wires. enjoy

Nice lock and excellent pictures, thanks for sharing :)

I think that a 2 in 1 pick (with a hole to accommodate the nail-stile ward) is enough to pick this lock. Why do you say 3 in 1? Am I missing something?

Cheers :)

i'm new to lever locks and still learning them. i've never had neither 2 in 1 or 3 in 1 pick and tried them on any lock, but when you look closely how the front side of the key looks like you notice that post is one thing, and there is also a little ward which prevents putting 2 in 1 pick. or maybe i'm wrong.

but there is no curtain so i think there is enough space just to play wires, and 3in1 is just for comfort.

cheers:)

Thanks for the clear schema. Now that you've pointed out that, I can see why a 2 in 1 will not work: it'll miss the first or the last lever. You're right, you'll need a 3 in 1. Since the levers haven't anti pick notches a couple of bent wires should be enough.

Good luck :)

@alphabravo

Where did you get this lock? I've been trying to get a hold locks from the USSR for a while now without much luck. Looks like I'll be over there sometime this year, but I'm pretty sure I'm not going to have time to wander around trying to find old locks.
