They look really good! Yes, it is a shame that the finish is really pitted on that doubled sided cylinder. Is it more than superficial?

I think it might come up with a good polish. I made two small errors on the cleaner of the two though :/

I caught my sleeve on the down handle before I centered it :/ the fine tune cog was off so it hit the job

snowy, what machine are you using in cutting these projects? can you please give me an info. I am planning to pursue the trigger lock mortise cylinder project. what i am looking for is an accurate angled drilling for a standard pin chamber, any help is much appreciated., regards. that cutaway was superb. great job pal.

Its a generic Chinese made thing. They are just branded up by the companies who buy bulk with their name.

Mine is an Axminster Sieg X2.

It's been great for over a year. But recently its not making good contact on the speed control dial and cuts out sometimes. I've yet to take the box apart and see if its just dirty.

Snowyboy, I have the same Mill. And the same problem.

Mine was solved when looking over the brushes on the motor. Simply remove the two plastic screws on top of the motor. Inspect, change if necessary and replace.

BTW, I have upgraded to autofeed, DRO on all 3 axis and beltdrive. It gave me a MUCH better machine.
