If that lock had ceramic plates & rods it would smash that cutter in two seconds flat. All it's cutting is brass, mild steel, and when it gets to the discs, copper.

You should see how fire departments open locked doors for which no keys are immediately available during an emergency... No drilling involved... Just a couple of really cool tools referred to as "a pair of irons"...

I am still semi-suspicious of the OPs motives for wanting such an impenetrable lock for his condo door... A normal lock with an alarm system would do much more for him than his desired super lock; which if he ever got locked out would have to be destroyed in order to gain entry if the company who installs it is unable to originate keys in the field (rather than merely being distributors of keys made by a supply house or at the factory)... Some of the companies who install Abloy products don't buy one of the expensive dedicated machines to produce the keys at their own shop...

Also, I have yet to meet a condo owner who knew and totally understood the two levels of rules which exist and are legally binding upon them: the rules, responsibilities, boundaries and jurisdictions outlined in the condo declaration document which has the force of law and needs approval from almost every owner to make amendments to AND the homeowner's rules created by the condo association/board of directors and can be modified at any time with a simple majority vote of the board...

Abloy makes it's locks of "brass, mild steel, and when it gets to the discs, copper"? **sigh**
The BiLock isn't the first bump proof pin tumbler because it isn't a pin tumbler.
And it's called a shear line, not a "sheerline".

LOL the best security ever is a very large trained guard dog. But you need 2 so when you take one for a walk there's at least one in the condo at all times.

next time don't snitch on the mob and you won't need protection

Care to share your sigh? I cut these locks away day in day out & have done for the past 2 years almost.... either I'm wrong, or I'm using the wrong cutters.

Enlighten us.........

The sigh is about poor engineering. this is a lock where you could make every component out of hardened steel, but noooo.

This is a ridiculous post. How do you expect to get on your impossible lock when I lose your keys or are in need of medical help inside... Going overboard is not the best way unless you have a drug den full of cash...

+1...

I thought he was either trying to keep people away from a cache of stolen property or drugs the way he described what he wanted in his first post...

That said, 6th floor in a condo building -- definitely some sort of fire department access at play that the OP is either unaware of or outright ignoring...
