Afghanistan

So just in case anyone every decides to open a locksmith business over here (Afghanistan) I have good news. The entire country is secured by tricircles. I'll try and get some pics up soon but I had to share this interesting fact, the only locks this country seems to use is tri-circles. I haven't seen a single other lock anywhere, I have been all over this country and no masters, no brinks, just the exact same style tricircle. Every shop, tractor, motorcycle and some houses, tricircle.

The vast majority of the Middle East uses Tri-Circles, and some Tri-Circle knockoffs. I've been to Kuwait, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan (albeit slightly east of the mid east), Iraq, Afghanistan, Bahrain. They all have Tri-Circles from what I saw locking up gates and the like.

East Africa seems to have very similar lock preferences (tons of tricircles and knockoffs). I took some pics while I was deployed there; they'll likely look similar to what you're seeing around:

Thanks for what you're doing over there, stay safe, and become an absolute picking beast!
