Thanks

@shoelace:

You won't find specific model numbers of the Kaba mortise cylinder deadbolts on-line because the orders are processed by Kaba to be whatever the local supplier has demand to stock...

Find a copy of the Kaba 2011 North American Price Book and you can see all the possible permutations which are available... If you know how to interpret the "model numbers" knowing that number will specifically identify each and every option on the deadbolt described down to the keyway of the cylinder...

-- Single Cylinder (outside mortise x inside thumb turn plate with visible mounting screws)
-- Double Cylinder (outside mortise x inside mortise)
-- Classroom Function (outside mortise x inside thumb turn plate with visible mounting screws)
deadbolt is projected by outside key cylinder, inside thumb turn will retract but not extend deadbolt...

A variety of finishes from 03, 03P, 04, 32D, etc...

List price runs from around $50 to $75 depending on options...

Lead time on an order for those units is 4 weeks from manufacturer -- so you would generally be bound by whatever your local distributor has in stock unless you want to want 5 to 6 weeks...

the issue of someone hopping over the fence should also be addressed....
