help, has anyone came across this lock before?

Hi Folks,

Newly registered to the site but have been using it for a while now.
Im newish to picking and just do it for a hobby. I came across this lock and never saw one before. does anyone know anything about it and is it possible to pick?
I dont even know how you start! Ive posted a link because it wouldn let me upload the image.

Hi trickster101, welcome to the forum.

Yes, if it was yours and not in use, it could be possible to pick this lock.
It has a unusual keyway, I like it Where did you find it? I got mine in Kuala Lumpur.

thanks for the welcome. My friend gave it to me as he knew I like messing around with locks but when I asked him where he got it he said he found it at work. So I dont know anything about it.

cant find to much info about it either so not sure how id go about picking it!

It's just a basic pin tumbler with a weird key. Kinda like a dimple lock, you just tension it as normal and pick the pins with a sideways rotating action, could probably use a half diamond if you don't have any dimple picks although it would be easier with those.

I'm curious: can you please post a picture of the whole lock seen from one side?
