Yale Padlocks without Keys

Finally had time to take pics of the Yale padlocks I won at eBay. Also included is the Abloy Disclock deadbolt I got from Habistore (the local Habitat for Humanity resale store) and an E.M.R. padlock that was included in one of the lots of Yale locks. If you know ANYTHING about these locks (OK, skip it if you just wanna say they are Yale and brass), please let me know. I have no idea about dates of manufacture or models, and I would like to learn.
First, the Abloy. Had a heck of a time finding a local locksmith who could rekey this baby. Of course, when I got it, it had no key. The store sold it really cheap because they thought it was a faulty privacy lock. Who ever heard of a privacy deadbolt?


Now the Yales. First the push key pin tumblers, no warding:




Now four others, including 2 Yale Juniors. One junior is a wafer lock (releases shackle completely when opened), and the other appears to be a warded lock or lever lock.




And 3 more Yales, with the E.M.R.




And finally, pics of just the E.M.R. It appears to be a lever lock. Included a quarter, so if you don't like it, you can call someone who cares. Oops, I mean included it for SCALE.




Again, if you know anything about these locks, please let me know. And Lauren, (or anybody else), what is the best way of opening the E.M.R. without risk of damaging it?

Nice padlocks! Sorry, I can't really help with them but, privacy deadbolt do exist. They are normally found on washrooms. I can see why someone not familiar with Abloy may think it is a privacy deadbolt.

You should be able to impression a key for your EMR relatively easily.
provided the levers and wards are still in good shape.
Get a barrel key blank from the locksmith ( or where ever )
and a flat file (1/16"wide?). Remember, the tip of the key does the
unlocking on a padlock like that, so even if it is marking,
make sure that is the LAST place you file. You don't want to
remove too much which will make the key unusable.

About the EMR, I'd look for one old key that enter the keyway, then I'd file away all the bittings except the first one. You end up with a small key to be used as a tension wrench. Now you just need a L bent wire to pick it. I did something similar with an old lever padlock.
The good thing is that you don't need the right key or a proper key blank, any key that enter the keyway and tall enough will do. Just file it to size.

Be very careful if you decide to impression it: old and rusted levers and springs are very fragile.

That is a nice bunch of old Yale padlocks you got there. Like all the push key locks. The Yale Junior wafer 714 shackle coming out completely doesn't sound like it is suppose to do that but could be wrong. You can impression a key for that using the standard old 01122 ilco blank looks like to me. Might be difficult to find the right blanks for the small brass ones. I have 2 of the smallest ones no blanks to be found. Sorry I can't help with the dates on any of them. The EMF should impression easy. Happy picking good luck with them.
