Middleage locks

Postby mikus » 8 Nov 2013 13:20

Ive been to the National Museum today and i found couple of old locks, padlocks and keys there. All of them were massive and well, old...
I got some pictures, unfortunetly i couldnt use flash lamp and my phone camera is very poor quality.

Keys:

These ones were very big, the first one from left was 30cm long

These were beautifully made

This is whole wall full of some old locks, padlocks and this stuff that was attached to doors and to hinges (wall was 2m high, just to give you scale)

Close up on locks from the bottom of the wall (these ones that are on the floor)
