I have heard lots of (admittedly non-authoritative) claims of widespread use of picking/bypass techniques, unauthorized copies of TSA keys, and assorted destructive entry techniques concealed by various cover stories amongst TSA and baggage handlers to commit theft or carry out unauthorized searches.

These locks are a non-issue because of the construction of the bags they are on.

It is very easy to bypass them without any destruction or evidence as illustrated by BosnianBill's video:

I found this trick by accident years and years ago when I was a kid and had no idea how to pick locks. So yes; it's so easy, even a child could do it.
