Identify this Lock

It's a 6 pin commercial lock kindly donated by a nearby locksmith. I was so excited to get it I forgot to ask what it was. I tried googling AL, AIL, ARL, etc.

BTW, I'm new and I read the FAQs before first post. If I committed a heinous act please let me know.

Alarm Lock

someone installed an Alarm Lock digital keypad on their commercial door but didnt want the generic cylinder that came with it and instead put in something better or a dummy mortise cylinder.

Thanks!
That makes sense. I can see why they would want to do that. This is the first 6 pin I've ever SPPd and I am still learning. The best combination doesn't do you any good if your lock can be picked by a beginner. That plus the campus is standardized on BEST locks so they probably wanted it master keyed.

Yep, I noticed, now that I've deleted some spam, it's clean again.

Cheers :)

Newer Alarm Lock cylinders always have spools. I wouldn't recommend a dummy cylinder unless there is another way into the room.

Is that something broken/jammed in the keyway?
